Judo Being first grew his passion for Techno & House music during a visit to Frankfurt, he was influenced by the Techno he had heard on the cities radio stations. Couple of years later his next introduction to a foray of dance music was at the largest free party in the UK in 91′ Castlemorton Rave, DIY parties Nottingham & the underground House scene in Birmingham.

Judo is used to playing a variety of different types of events from festivals, clubs and parties. His sound suits after midnight feel that has people bopping away to his sounds. he is also a multi instrumentalist and accomplished Violinist.

Judo’s sound has evolved into a really interesting & exciting one, his tunes have a consistent feeling of movement. Dirty Washing e.p. is reminiscent of his earlier experiences with Electronic Music. Dirty Washing almost has a disturbing feel to it where Off to the Zoo ebbs with a bounce bass line. Their is a definitive dark and lightness in all his music. Hats moving in cyclic rhythmic delays with layered lines of melody and twisted bass patterns.

JudoBeing’s sound has a real unique identity to it that is Being Judo. Strong kicks and bass with a moving feeling that’s hypnotic and other worldly. There is a Tribal feel to his music with ebbing rhythmic percussive sounds. His sound always developing & evolving.

His tunes could belong on the dance floor, after club, or chill out to at home. His first album, Funk That Trance is an experimental album, with each track being very different in its own right. It was composed with a set of computer speakers & reason. He had the album signed by a New York label in no time. His studio now really reflects his overall sound. The Dirty Washing e.p. seems to have Judo Being finding his signature sound which is consistent with Minimal Love, where Love & Life takes on its own story with three different flavours.
