We at Freakey Studios have had the great pleasure of working with Madhava as a performer in the studio and live on stage. Producing his works for him to date have been a flow as if channeled from somewhere that you feel you don’t own. A very magical experience.
This man has words that need to be heard, as they are so relevant to the era we are passing through as a global nation and as well as its relevance to life in general. Heart felt words from a man who sings with such soul and conviction, you just cant help but listen to what each song has to say.
This is also a fun album to listen to, hawking of influences from George Harrison to Bob Marley to name only but a few with in its own tonality of uniqueness.

Madhava & James are currently recording songs of Madhava’s in a joint studio project @ FreakeyStudios. James is a multi instrumentalist and alongside Madhava’s Harmonium, Mrdungha, Cartels, Keys, makes for an interesting fusion, you can hear this on their previous project “Voices of Peace”.
The album is also graced by members of Sundara, so we wait patiently in excited expectation for whats is to come next from this collaboration. James & Madhava have a very unique partnership, both having very different skill sets as musicians and producers. This is largely reflected in the sound they create, one that shows the different aspects of their personalities, it is hard to pigeon whole, its other worldly, approachable, soulful & definitely fusion. Words again that speak volumes of depth about our journeys in life and the world we live in. Madhavas words will make people stand up and listen.
